Caregiver Spotlight - October 2011 Alecia Williams has worked consistently for AHC for more than two years. She has provided care for the same client during her entire employment with us.     Alecia is a Certified Nurse's Assistant. She has worked with her client and her husband in their home as a companion and now works five days a week as a companion to the same client who now resides in a nursing home. The client is blind and diabetic, and requires the constant supervision of a medical team due to her diabetes.    The companion services provided to this client by Alecia are invaluable.    Over the last two years Alecia has gone through many difficult changes with her client. During these times, Alecia has shown tremendous skill, compassion and patience. She has been instrumental in making sure the client receives necessary medical care while at the same time supporting her emotional needs. Alecia is also a reliable resource to the family, who all live out of town and are not able to visit frequently.    During her time with At Home Companions, Alecia has shown herself to be a professional and reliable employee.
